This shoe house has lost a lot of its attention because they have been popping up a lot over the years; yes surprisingly enough there’s more than one person who wanted their house to take the form of a shoe. But this shoe house is the original, built in 1948 by shoe salesman Mahlon Haines in Hallam Pennsylvania as an advertising venture that no one had even imagined in those days. Well enough with the history, if you find yourself in Hallam any time soon you can get an inside look of the shoe house because its now open for public display.
