Oh, What A Night! NAHA 2011 Recap.
On July 31, 2011 the NAHA awards were held at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas during the PBA Beauty Week sponsored by Cosmoprof. The Red-Carpet Reception began promptly at 6:30pm. Suddenly that Mandalay Bay Ballroom was flooded with the industry’s most talented, and you guessed it- most stylish. Fantastic frocks and perfectly coiffed locks posed for the paparazzi before enjoying a few drinks and h’ordeurves. The fresh chopped cobb salad served in martini glasses were almost too adorable to eat!

For those who don’t know, the NAHA Awards (North American Hairstyling Awards) are to Hairdressers what the Oscars are to Actors. The Award is synonymous with Prestige and Talent. It’s a photographic beauty competition in which celebrates the artistry and skill of the professional salon industry. Every year, thousands of hairdressers in the United States and Canada enter to win in one of the 13 categories for excellence in the field. From Master Stylist to Student Stylist, Makeup Artist to Salon Designer- NAHA showcases the best in the business at the star-studded event.

At the awards ceremony guest enjoyed performances, artistic presentations and special appearances by a few famous fashionistas and beauty-lovers!
This year Tabatha Coffey, hairstylist, author and star of Bravo’s “Tabatha’s Salon Takeover”- hosted the awards show.

In addition Holly Madison, actress, model and Vegas Headliner Holly Madison, received the award for 2011 Beautiful Humanitarian. This award was given to Ms.Madison as recognition for her dedication, talent, and fame advocating for animal rights. She’s got the “It” factor- beauty, brains, and big heart. Holly is widely considered to be one of the most beautiful women in the world and is known for her iconic look.
