Shepard Fairey Finishes West Hollywood Library

The project Shepard Fairey embarked on, to design a giant wall of the upcoming West Hollywood Library parking lot is now finished and ready for public viewing when it opens in October. Fairey, Retna, and Kenny Scharf were all given their own huge blank wall to unleash their artistry, and the outcome is magnificent. But the best part, all of the supplies and labor were payed for by Fairey to give whining tax payers one less thing to complain about… in case his work for the Obama campaign wasn’t enough to receive his acclamation into ‘civilized’ society. In any case, Fairey has come a long way in his design ventures since the Obey Giant campaign’s inception in the late 1980′s. We’ll enjoy seeing his next move.
