Rent Your Bathroom to Strangers With This New App

“When you have to go, you have to go” is the philosophy behind the saucy new smartphone app CLOO’,which encourages homeowners to rent out their private bathrooms to complete strangers off the street. CLOO’ basically establishes a social network for toilets, where people can post profiles for their bathrooms, complete with pictures of course, and people on the verge of wearing pee pants can log on and find the closest “host” to their location and be granted full use of their bathroom, for a small fee. After business is completed, the app allows for ratings and comments to be posted to help future prospects, like Yelp for bathrooms. For good reason, the creators felt the need to address issues of safety and awkwardness of being on either side of this transaction, so they synched their site with other social networking sites to establish any mutual friends between the parties, so the bathroom in use no longer belongs to just a stranger, but potentially a friend of a friend. In hopes to encourage usage of this app the company has partnered with various brands that will supply toilet paper and tissues for free to host bathrooms. I’m not sure what’s more ridiculous, the people that will actually use this app or those who will rent their bathrooms out to randoms from the street. Either way, the age of CLOO’ and bathroom social networking is coming early next year.
