MTV Looks To Occupy Wall Street To Cast 27th Season!
You’ve got to be kidding- in a recent ad on Craigslist.com, the famous community networking site, MTV’s Real World stated that they are seeking members of the Occupy Wall Street movement to audition and be cast in the 27th season of the infamous reality show.“This all came out of the current zeitgeist,” says Sasha Alpert, the senior vice president of casting for the show’s production company. “We are always looking for people who are involved in whatever is going on in the world around them.”
Uh-huh. Spread the word, spread the love, all from the comfort of a hot tub? Yeah, sounds revolutionary.
The ad reads “Are you part of the Occupy Wall Street Movement? MTV’s Real World is seeking cast members to tell their unique stories on our show. If you are over the age of 20 and appear to be between the ages of 20-24, and the description below sounds like you, we want to hear from you! If so, please contact realworldcasting@bunim-murray.com. Your subject heading should be YOUR NAME and WALL STREET. To be considered, you must send along recent photos, a bio and contact information. The location of filming for the 27th season has not yet been determined.
