Drake to Play at American Music Awards 2011 on ABC

Today is a big day for Drake fans, as he is confirmed to play at the American Music Awards this upcoming Sunday night. Drake is no question the hot topic right now in mainstream hip-hop, with his second album just recently coming out, and recent collaborations with names like Nicki Minaj, Lil’ Wayne, and many others.
Joining the lineup which includes Ludacris, Jennifer Lopez, Nicki Minaj, Maroon 5, and David Guetta, Drake will be performing his new hit single, “Headlines”.
We also now know that Ludacris will be joining forces with Enrique Iglesias to perform the singer’s song “Tonight (I’m Lovin’ You)”. The most exciting part of both Drake and Ludacris playing at the AMA’s is the recent controversy that has surfaced between the two and Big Sean. On one of Luda’s recent releases, “Bada Boom” from his latest mixtape 1.21 Gigawatts: Back to the First Time, he makes a direct stab at both Drake and Big Sean.
The AMA’s will air on ABC Sunday night at 8:00pm.
