The Foxy Bikini At Completely Bare
Completely Bare Salon, which is owned by New York City housewife, Cindy Barshop is offering a luxurious bikini wax that takes the concept of ridiculousness to a whole new level. The salon’s new service, The Foxy Bikini, is so ridiculous, even PETA has taken a stance against it.
The Foxy Bikini, a $225 service offered at Barshop’s high profile salon, is a Fox fur bikini wax–yes, really. Barshop, 40, told Today.com, “People are loving the concept, it is so over the top. Feathers and colorful fur were shown on a lot of the runway shows and I thought, let’s bring back the merkin incorporating these hot trends and allow ladies to wear something fabulous down there.” She also added that she was inspired by women who could afford trendy Birkin bags, believing that they would also like to wear trendy “Merkins.”
Just in case you’re interested, Completely Bare also boasts Vajewel-ing (just take a guess what it means), and The Carnivale Bikini which involves putting colorful feathers from tropical birds around your special spot.
The activists at PETA don’t think the Foxy Bikini is fabulous at all; in fact, they think that the treatment is cruel to animals. PETA’s president Ingrid Newkirk explains, “It’s outright sleazy, and it’s downright cruel to kill an animal to decorate your privates.”
What do you think? Will you be rocking a Merkin for Valentine’s Day?
