The Hottest Winter Fashion Trends
I am obsessed with lookbook.nu. I spend no less than thirty minutes on lookbook every day, swooning over the amazingly beautiful girls and picture perfect outfits. With its global fashion consciousness, lookbook is a great site for fashion inspiration and all things creative. Sometimes a little inspiration is all it takes to dig yourself out of a fashion rut. If you’ve never been to the lookbook website, stop what you are doing and check it out immediately! It’s really that good! These are a few of my favorite winter looks from around the globe. Enjoy!

This is Mayo from Hong Kong. I am completely in love with her use of soft neutrals and blush tones, even during the chilly winter months. Heart patterned ankle socks are the perfect addition to this ultra feminine outfit.

If your style is more hippie-bohemian, you’ll really enjoy looking through Anna-lena’s lookbook profile. This is just another example of how casual-cool can be just as chic and trendy as dressing to the nines. Little pieces like a patterned headband and contrasting shoulder bag help bring this outfit together.

Pretty Andy of Amsterdam is rocking one of my year-round favorites: high waisted jeans. If you’ve got straight hips and short legs like me, high waisted bottoms help give the illusion of longer legs while drawing attention to a tiny waist. Her star studded cropped blouse and platform combat boots make this ensemble a match made in heaven.

Jennifer‘s red dress is amazing. In California, even short dresses can be versatile winter-wear when paired with the right accessories! Over-the-knee socks will help keep your legs protected from chilly winter nights.

I think Ebba‘s unique spin on menswear is amazing. Tailored suits and cropped pants for women are being featured everywhere- why should men have all the fun, right?

Velvet skirts and dresses are two of my favorite winter fashion trends. Breanna from Winnipeg styled her red velvet skirt perfectly with snowy white and gray hues.
