Bad Lip-Readings Take the Web by Storm

The Internet is a wondrous and often hilarious place, but with the amount of greatness that comes with it also comes a great deal of garbage. Sifting through it, especially on sites like Youtube, can get awfully tiresome, and when you have a checklist of work to do that day (you know, for, um, your job that pays you) it’s near impossible.
Along with your daily fill of cyber-hilarity, politics may also be on your mind. Maybe even more specifically the presidential race is on your mind. Who should you vote for? Is this candidate’s word worth his weight in gold? The truth to most of these questions is probably something pretty cynical; but don’t worry, you’re not alone. There are some fine folks who have been posting videos on Youtube under the title “Bad Lip Read” that are lampooning 2012 presidential candidates in the best possible way, with their own words.
The idea behind “Bad Lip Reading” is just as it sounds, as the creators have taken out the audio to candidates’ speeches and re-dubbed them with the oddest, most hilarious non-sequiturs. The best part about the series is that the creators haven’t been biased towards any politician, taking as much aim at the Left as the Right, with gut-busting results.
To give a quick example, during the segment, in a dubbed interview answer, Santorum is translated as saying, “I borrow meat to provide for my putty-tat.” It’s like watching the best game of mad-lib play out onscreen.
So, if you’re having a rough day, your mind boggling between too much office work, school, or thoughts of where America is headed as a world entity, take some time out and watch these videos. I promise that you’ll feel a little better about things.
