Catwoman Pepper Sprays Ozzy Osbourne Impersonator
Los Angeles tourists outside the Kodak were treated to a show that was much better than what took place inside of it last year. Last week, a Catwoman impersonator — wait for it because this would only happen in LA — got into a fight with an Ozzy Osbourne impersonator that ended with her pepper spraying him in the face.
According to NBC, a fight broke out between the two characters on Hollywood Boulevard around 5:30 p.m. For anyone who’s never been to this part Hollywood, there are people dressed up as various movie characters, superheroes, and celebrities, that take pictures with tourists – which they of course expect a tip for.
Imagine being the police officers responding to that call, and discovering that the “battery” involved Catwoman getting gangster on Ozzy. Apparently, the guy dressed as Ozzy was drunk and annoying the rest of the characters with his ramblings and drunken antics. Initially, it was reported that it was Jack Sparrow who was the culprit, which would be any easy mistake to make when someone described a longhaired, drunken man. Catwoman explained to NBC that Ozzy and another alien character had been causing problems all day and appeared to be drunk.
Despite warning them multiple times, they continued to interfere with her taking pictures, aka making money. Even informing the “Prince of Darkness” that she had mace did not deter him.
“He was antagonizing me to do so, so I did,” she told NBC. “I said, ‘I’m giving you fair warning. If you do not get away from me I will spray you in the face.’” She promptly did, victim and his sidekick fled the scene.
As if movie character icons getting into a catfight wasn’t enough, NBC conducted interviews to find out just what happened, which included Catwoman’s story being corroborated by Willy Wonka á la Johnny Depp and a full reenactment by a slightly heavier and difficult to understand Captain America. By the 1:50 mark, this video is already infinitely better than the entire Catwoman movie with Halle Berry.
No one was arrested or taken to the hospital. Luckily this time, Catwoman was there to regulate as these types of things that apparently happen more than we think and despite the fact that the majority of the justice league and Avengers are present. “We’re just trying to entertain the public, take pictures with the tourists, make them happy, you know,” Catwoman told NBC. “That’s what we come out here for.”
If I was promised shenanigans like this would happen, I would go to Hollywood Blvd. every day!
