Fashion Greats Get Together for Obama Fundraiser
President Obama may not be the most fashionable man in the world, but his fashion choices have definitely not hurt his spot with Tinseltowns A-List.
The President is scheduled to travel to New York City on Tuesday, February 7 to attend a fundraiser hosted by THE Anna Wintour and actress Scarlett Johansson. Since the affair was announced on the Sunlight Foundation’s Party Time blog, tons of celebrities and fashion icons have signed on.
Earlier today, The New York Post’s Page Six reported that Beyonce, Tory Birch, Sean “Diddy” Combs, Marc Jacobs, Vera Wang, Diane Von Furstenberg, Alexander Wang, Narciso Rodriguez and many many more would be in attendance.
Held at the Theory store in NYC’s Meatpacking District, Designers have created custom Obama clothing and accessories for the event, which is sure to create the buzz that Obama’s people anticipated.
Oh, and I forgot to mention the price. Want to hang out with some of the biggest celebrities out there while supporting your man Barack? Be a guest for $250–but that won’t really get you anywhere. For the small price of $1,000, you’ll get a photo reception with Anna Wintour and Scarlett Johansson and a Runway to Win limited edition tote bag. Not enough? Want a dinner with Mrs. Wintour and Ms. Johansson at a TBD location? It’ll set you back $2,500.
Hey, good for him. What middle aged man with a wife and two kids could call stars of this caliber friends?
What do you think? Will this hurt or help him with the regular people?
