The Best Drugstore Beauty Finds
While I frequent the drugstore numerous times a week for staple- items like toilet paper, medicine, toothpaste, and cotton balls among other things, my time is usually spent in the beauty aisle. Although I have my can’t-live-without items, I often find myself engulfed in the new items out each time I visit my local CVS. Not only are my favorite items cheaper than anything at a department store or Sephora, but I can browse the newest in makeup innovations without being poked and prodded with questions by the pushy salespeople at makeup counters (you all know what I’m talking about.)
Here are my top-favorite drug store beauty finds:
This nourishing lotion smells great, moisturizes skin, and has seriously firmed my skin. After using it for just a few months, I noticed a significant difference.
I use these for everything from taking off my makeup and applying toner to taking off my nail polish! One goes such a long way!
This is my can’t-do-without product. I use it on my elbows, the bottom of my feet, and on my lips. I even mix in a little with my moisturizer when the weather is dry since I often need extra moisture.
Best tanning mist, hands down. This spray has no icky smell, dries so quickly, and lasts longer than most of the custom airbrush tans I’ve received. Plus, one can goes such a long way–my last can gave me seven full body tans–and for under $15, that’s a serious steal.
As a writer, sitting at my desk writing for hours and hours leaves me with an achy back. I finally found something that soothes my muscles and stimulates my senses. These Epsom Salts smell amazing (make sure to pick up the spearmint & eucalyptus scent), and they relax my muscles when they need all the help they can get. Plus, the smell is so amazing that your bathroom will smell like a day spa for days!
I use these for everything. I’ll wear ‘em when I wash my face, at the gym, and sometimes when I pull my hair in a simple pony tail when I go out. They don’t slip, they’re super comfortable, and they come in an array of colors. Plus, if you’re feeling artsy, you can totally decorate these to make them your own.
I’m sure you all have your favorite drugstore beauty finds. Please share them with us!
