Take a quick “lunch” break and get to the Isabel Marant, Jerome Dreyfuss, and Ippolita sample sales now! OK, so it probably won’t be a “quick” trip to the Cooper Building downtown or the W Hotel in Westwood, but it will definitely be worth it to try to steal away a couple hours in exchange for some hot new items.
According to Refinery 29, designers Isabel Marant and husband Jerome Dreyfuss are hosting a sample sale featuring items including Marant’s self-titled and Étoile lines, as well as Dreyfuss’ handbag collection.
The sample sale, which opened its doors at the Cooper Building March 1 at 10 a.m., will end at 4 p.m. today. Of course, if you can’t make it today, you can definitely still catch some hot deals Friday, March 2, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Daily Candy reported that shoppers will be able to enjoy 50% to 70% off Marant’s clothing, jewelry, and shoes, as well as 60% to 70% off Dreyfuss’ leather handbags.
Lucky for you, LA.Racked.com has shared live reports of the event in order to give shoppers a heads-up for what’s in store today and tomorrow. Fashionistas—clutching their Celine, Gucci, Alexander Wang, and Bottega Veneta bags—were very eager to purchase brand new items from the sale, as many began waiting in line at 9:12 a.m. At 9:39, there were more than 30 people waiting in line, and at 10:01 the doors finally opened. The Cooper Building is located downtown at 860 S. Los Angeles Street, Ste. 1100 (at E. Ninth Street). Quick tip: there is no sign or number on the showroom door, so keep an eye out for a crowd of fashion forward women.
If you’re more of a jewelry buff, making a stop at the Ippolita sale at the W Hotel should definitely be at the top of your iPhone “Reminders” list.
According to Daily Candy, shoppers can get 40% to 70% off earrings, bangles, and rings in gold, rose gold, and silver.
If you work full time, don’t worry because the Ippolita sample sale will be open on Saturday, and the weekday hours are scheduled to end well after you get out of work. The shopping event will take place Thursday, March 1, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; Friday, March 2, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.; and Saturday, March 3, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The W Hotel is located in Westwood at 930 Hilgard Ave., Studio 1 (second floor). Get to shopping, ladies.
