“Meeting Evil” Trailer
Meeting Evil is a new movie that releases in limited theaters on May 4. It stars Luke Wilson (Death at a Funeral, Tenure) as John Fleeton, a man who is really down on his luck after being fired from his realtor job. Samuel L. Jackson (The Avengers) plays Richie, a man who forces John to reevaluate everything he ever thought about himself and his life after being led on a murder spree. It also stars Leslie Bibb (“GCB,” Zookeeper) as John’s wife, Joanie.
This movie looks like it is going to be genuinely interesting. Luke Wilson does a lot of underrated movies that are not that well known, but the movies themselves are usually strangely great or thought- provoking. This looks like it will be a combination of the two.
Samuel L. Jackson is just one of those bad-ass actors who can easily fill any role he sets his mind to, and fortunately playing the mysterious creepy guy is one of those roles he has already done in the past. In this film, his devil’s advocate character is either really the devil in human form or just a depraved man who sees evil in everyone and seeks to destroy them.
John stops to help Richie with his car, and after that Richie acts like he wants to help John with his life. It ends up turning into this nightmare that John cannot escape from, and the premise is that it forces John to take a look at himself and question everything he ever knew and the kind of man that he is.
