Managing Social Media Privacy [INFOGRAPHIC]
Social media behavior distinctively differs across different demographics. Factors such as gender, age, and nationality affect the way we use social media networking platforms. According to ZoneAlarm, information from a 2012 study by Pew indicates that similar factors might play a role in the way that we manage our social media privacy.
The research from the study, which was used to generate the infographic below, points to gender-specific social media privacy practices. For example, men have been shown to be almost twice as likely to express regret for the online content that they have posted. Men are also more likely to maintain public social media presences.
