Makeup trends are constantly changing; however, there are several timeless looks that will never fade. Because you can never go wrong with classic red lips, dark cat eyes, defined eyebrows, and rosy cheeks, we’ve provided a few tips—with the help from All Women Stalk—on how to achieve each elegant makeup look.
Red Lipstick
Highlight your lovely lips with the perfect shade of red lipstick. You’ll want to choose a color that complements your skin tone. For instance, if you have fair skin, try an orange-red or coral shade. If you have tan or olive skin, try a true red color, and if you have darker skin, try a burgundy red. You can add a similar shade of lip-liner to enhance the shape of your lips. Don’t forget to moisturize your lips! Always base with a lip balm or add gloss after you’ve applied color.
Dark Cat Eyeliner
Dress up your look with dark cat eyes. Much like Sophia Loren and Brigitte Bardot, you will want to create a flawless wing. Try using liquid liner (we recommend Stila’s Stay All Day Waterproof Liner, $20). You can use a Q-tip to create a more defined shape. Defined Eyebrows
Want beautiful dark eyebrows? Use a shade of shadow that best matches your hair color and fill in the shape of your brows using a thin, fine-tipped brush. You can also darken your brows using a pencil (we love the Rimmel Professional Brow Pencil). If you need more inspiration, simply browse photos of Liz Taylor and Megan Fox, and you should be able to create the perfect defined eyebrows.
Rosy Cheeks
No look is more timeless than perfect rosy cheeks. After you have applied your foundation, add a pink shade of blush to the apple of your cheeks. If you have fair skin, choose a light pink shade of blush. For darker skin tones, choose a deeper shade, but try to avoid bronze tones.
