Alexa Chung, fashion’s it girl, was recently spotted shopping the looks at London menswear runway shows. Vogue caught up with her at the runway shows and she explained her affinity for menswear pieces.“My brothers’ clothes were my wardrobe growing up! I’ve always liked wearing boy’s things.”
Her signature style is the perfect culmination of boy-meets-girl fashion and we can all take a page out of her book by incorporating some menswear-inspired pieces into our closets. Usually this trend is evident in winter fashion when heavy layering and skin covering clothes are suitable, but there are plenty of summer appropriate pieces that offer a warm-weather version of this fashion trend.
