National “Get Naked” Week
Parts of the states are really suffering this summer with unbelievable heat waves causing the hottest half of the year on record.
Less than three weeks into summer and we’re already trying to take our clothes off just to get relief from the heat, or could it be we’re simply celebrating National Nude Recreation Week?
National Nude Recreation Week has more than 260 nudist clubs, parks, and resorts basking in the glory of raw naked flesh that will run from July 9-15.
The latest trend in vacationing for nudists: “Nakations” or naked vacations. This is the perfect week to take it off or better yet, take it all off, and indulge in your hedonistic tendencies.
For the past 37 years, the Naturist Society, in conjunction with the American Association for Nude Recreation, has celebrated this annual event “dressed” in their birthday suits.
National Nude Recreation Week encourages newcomers to the nudist lifestyle, and clothing-optional facilities are opening their doors to welcome newbies to one of the fastest growing trends in the travel industry.
A spokesperson for the American Association for Nude Recreation, Carolyn Hawkins, says, “Nude Recreation Week is the perfect time for the public to try something new and fun, while at the same time, it gives nudists all across the U.S, and Canada an excuse to tell their friends the real reason why they always looked so relaxed and refreshed when they get back from vacations.”
If you decide to participate in this week’s activities and events, beware; your friends, coworkers, and neighbors may see you getting your naked partying on, as local media has been invited to the week’s events. Especially gaining public interest is the American Association for Nude Recreation’s Amazing Canvas Nudist Face and Body Painting event happening on July 14th, where the first place winner will take home $500 cash!
