The Neapolitan of Las Vegas
When planning the requisite summer Sin City booze fest, an afternoon pool party takes precedence over pretty much everything, including bottle service, binge drinking, and breakfast on the strip (though experts know if they play their cards right, they’ll combine all four). The Neapolitan of Las Vegas just made itinerary strategizing easier by combining all four.
Housed at the Cosmopolitan, this chocolate and strawberry-colored lounge devotes itself solely to serving ice cream flavored cocktails right off of the south edge of the Boulevard pool. Girls dressed in bikinis and lab coats mix spiked, liquid nitrogen-infused sorbets, shakes, smoothies, and more sweet blended drinks of the like in the first lounge of its kind.
Newcomers need start with the signature Neapolitan Spiked Milkshake, a frothy combination of strawberry and chocolate ice cream with Biscotti liqueur. They then can get down to checking off items B and C on their to-do list (see above) with orders of Black and Tans salted with pretzel bits and frozen Moët martinis decorated with candied tangerines. Childhood memories fizz with the Pop Rock-topped Belvedere martinis.
Hot pink and Hershey foam couches afford views of the Strip, accented by camouflage pillars. The properly liquored may choose to place bets on a game of pool followed by a nap on one of the aforementioned seating arrangements. Once boozed to satisfaction, party-goers can mosey back into the sun, where they’ll find the ingredients for completing the last item on their Saturday itinerary in the form of a bonafide ice-cream man. Flag him down with a wave of a hand, and find his cart is stashed with tastier goodies than drumsticks, like the ingredients necessary to construct a Maker’s Mark chocolate shake slathered with bacon.
There’s nothing better than ice-cream for breakfast.
