Feminist Ryan Gosling Meme Book

Ryan Gosling is the second coming of Marlon Brando. I’m sure the comparison has been made, but I’ve never seen it, so I’m claiming it. While he got his feet wet in small roles like Remember the Titans, he has quickly distinguished himself as someone who chooses roles carefully and then floors you with his acting. To add to that, Gosling is the guy who every woman wants and the guy who every man wants to be. He’s a dude’s dude, but minus any overtones of frat boy idiocy. All of this point to the early career of Brando. After all is said and done, Gosling’s Drive may end up being Brando’s A Streetcar Named Desire.
I bring that up because I wanted to make it clear that Gosling has won over one of the toughest demographics to convert to your side: wholly feminists. If you’ve scoured the Internet stratosphere in the last year or so, you’ve probably seen at least one feminist Gosling meme that depicts the actor speaking to a woman in the smoothest, caring way possible. For instance, “Hey girl, gender is a social construct, but everyone likes to cuddle.” Even the most uptight person can’t help but laugh at that.
Well, if you enjoyed that (or the many others that are out there), then you’re in luck. A new book has compiled all of the best Gosling feminist quotes into a 120-page book. There’s more good news, though, because according to the press release, the book actually has quite a few new memes that weren’t ever available on the Internet. Feminist Ryan Gosling: Feminist Theory As Imagined By Your Favorite Sensitive Movie Dude is the perfect long-winded title for a book that, at its heart, is ridiculous. You can snag the book at most major book stores and, of course, at your nearest Urban Outfitters.
