I Got My Kid a Horrible Back-to-School Outfit

Little kids are way too much fun to troll. With their lack of life experience coupled with their inability to understand sarcasm, it’s fairly easy to set up a decent prank on almost anybody under the age of seven. Jimmy Kimmel, the host of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, has been spearheading the “troll your kids” movement. He enlists the help of his viewers to prank their kids and video-tape their reactions. His favorite videos are then edited into a full compilation which showcases some of the funniest reactions you could expect in these situations.
If you’re already a Kimmel fan, you are probably familiar with his previous stunts. Last summer, he asked parents to wake their kids up for school… even though school was not yet in session. Last Halloween, he instructed parents to simply tell their kids they ate all their Halloween candy. The kids’ reactions were predictably explosive and hilarious… actually, I’m STILL quoting the last two kids at the end (“YOU SNEAKY MOM!!” works well in any situation… give it a try!). Around Christmas time, he told parents to give their kids an “early Christmas present”… but not an ordinary gift. A terrible gift. We’re talking old bananas and batteries over here! The kids reacted quite appropriately; and once again, Kimmel gifted his audience with a great compilation of his favorite videos. It seems like no kid is safe, as every time Kimmel issues a challenge, more and more parents deliver.
For Kimmel’s latest Youtube challenge, he told parents to pick out the ugliest, gaudiest clothes they could find and tell their kids it would be their back-to-school outfit. Once again, the parents delivered and happily trolled their kids into thinking they’ve got the worst fashion sense of all time. I’ve got to say, with having the prankster Dad that I grew up with, I am beyond relieved that Jimmy Kimmel Live! was NOT on the air when I was a kid. I am positive I’d end up in one of these compilations. On the other hand, I genuinely hope Kimmel is still on the air when I have kids… because I am totally taking part in his pranks (like father, like daughter…). Check out the video below! Which kid do you think had the funniest reaction?
