No Doubt to play SIX shows in Los Angeles
We have been excitedly updating you with the details of No Doubt’s reuniting on their newest album. Now, they have finally announced plans to perform again… and they are starting with a mini-residency right here in their hometown of Los Angeles! That’s right, the Alternative/New Wave/Ska/Amazingly Awesome group will be headlining a total of six shows at the Gibson Amphitheater in November and December to promote their new album Push and Shove. Push and Shove will not be available until September, so if you are looking for a sneak peek–as well as some awesome throw back jams–this is your chance!
The dates they will be performing in Los Angeles are set as:
Saturday, 11/24/12
Monday, 11/26/12
Wednesday, 11/28/12
Friday, 11/30/12
Sunday, 12/2/12
Tuesday, 12/4/12
Ahh, nothing like spending the holidays with one of the best bands I know. The six night stand will be sure to delight old and new fans alike. For the super fan, they actually have an all-inclusive ticket, which costs $115 but comes with a lot of fun extras. For starters, the pre-sale only tickets have NO SERVICE CHARGES (suck on that, Ticketmaster!!). Secondly, each $115 all-inclusive ticket allows the ticket-holder to have early entry into the venue before the general public. Ticket-holders will also receive an exclusive commemorative pin, as well as an exclusive commemorative postcard set. Sweet. The pre-sale starts TODAY, September 6th, 2012, and will go until Monday, September 10th. All pre-sale tickets can be purchased here.
If you aren’t down with the $115 price tag, you can wait until pre-sale is over and get your “regular” tickets. Ticket prices start as low at $74.50 plus service charges. Next ticket price is $99.50 plus service charges. They also have VIP tier tickets available, which start at about $250 and go up to $375… Service charges are applied as well. Basically, if you don’t do your pre-sale, you are going to have to give a chunk of change to the ticket broker–I hate that. So what do you guys think? Would you shell out $115 to see the return of No Doubt, or are you clutching your credit card so tightly your hands are turning white? Do you think that Gwen, Tony, Tom, and Adrian still have what it takes to rock out (for such an expensive price)? We want to hear your thoughts!
