Bangstyle is beyond thrilled to be one of the sponsors of the upcoming 1st annual Love, Light, N’ Hair, an amazing competition in Calgary all about supporting and growing the community - both locally and the industry as a whole. The open competition seeks to increase involvement between artists and students, sharing tools and experience and bridging the gap between salons and their communities.
Each competing team is responsible for putting on an 8-10 minute runway show, detailing 10 different assigned looks, all to be presented live at Cowboys Nightclub. Each team is comprised of 10 people, including 1 student who will be responsible for an entire look - from concept to execution. During the actual runway competition, each model will be completely 3D scanned, with technology by MakeFashion. A first for any fashion show! As education plays a major role in the competition (all prizes are education based) each team will also be required to produce a video how-to on one of their looks, to be released through Bangstyle. We could not be more excited to host these tutorials and promote the efforts to encourage education and growth as an artist.
