Many designers are embracing a 60s aesthetic in their fall shows this year and Dior is taking the lead with a call for change. Drawing on the protest art of the 1960s and the movements that ruled the era, Maria Grazia Chiuri is creating a feminine uprising with her latest designs.

When it came to the hair Redken Global Creative Director Guido Palau said, “It’s about rebellious girls, but not rebellious enough to not blow her hair out. She’s slightly bourgeois in her rebellion. I supposed it has a nod to the late 1960s girl. GET THE LOOK:

  1. Prep hair by washing with Redken All Soft Shampoo and ConditionerTowel dry.
  2. Apply a quarter-sized amount of Redken Satinwear 04 throughout lengths and ends.
  3. Separate the hair into five equal sections and blow dry with a round bristle brush, creating a smooth finish with a soft bed at the ends.
