Autumn's answer to the laid-back breezy styles we saw this summer? The classic chignon. There is something so subtle yet sexy about the breezy nature of this easy-to-recreate style. Taking inspiration from the latest AW fashion week, Cos Sakkas, TONI&GUY international artistic director and head of education, is showing us exactly how he created the look for the Paul Costelloe AW21 show, and how you can nail the look in the salon or at home.

“Working on the Paul Costelloe AW21 show, the TONI&GUY session team embraced the craftsmanship of the classic chignon, with a strong, tailored, low-side parting to work with the silhouettes and tailoring of the collection.” — Cos Sakkas, TONI&GUY international artistic director and head of education

Get the Look

  1. Prep hair with label.m Volume Mousse, then create a strong and straight side parting.
  2. Pull hair back into a ponytail at the nape of the neck, allowing for a soft sweep of hair at the front for softness
  3. Put the ponytail into a fine hair net and structure a clean, neat chignon, before setting with label.m Hairspray
