Whitney’s interest is deeply embedded in creative design and sculpting, editorial photo work, session styling, and catering to high-end and creative clientele.
Following school, she worked as a generalist for five years until channeling her interest to specialize solely in modern barbering. Whitney quickly fell in love with the ability to sculpt something and make it far more tailored for each client which has taken her on a journey over the years to build her brand and acquire mastery over her craft.
Whitney, often called a lead architect of modern barbering, in 2016 was nominated for NAHA as “Men’s Hairstylist of the Year”, and currently owns and operates THE AESTHETIC X WHITNEY VERMEER.
Whitney reaches the masses as a National Educator for Baxter of California owned by L’Oreal, and as a Platform Artist for HATTORI HANZO Shears.
