As artists, our work can oftentimes be very personal and through print, online and social media avenues we express our inner selves daily. As a community we owe it to each other to support one another, leading to efforts to elevate our craft. In an effort to do just this, #ArtistsSupportingArtists was born – a movement to create a positive dialogue between artists, especially in online situations. Behind this beautiful movement is Sam Villa, Co-Founder of Sam Villa and Redken Global Artistic Director. Moving the industry one more step forward, he will be joining other top beauty influencers on May 5 in Omaha, Nebraska for Breaking Into Beauty.
Breaking Into Beauty is a day of inspiration and education with top talent from our industry. It’s a movement to promote comradery and mentor the new generation of #ArtistsSupportingArtists. An opportunity to set a better example socially and digitally, and to share important behind-the-scenes details of what really happens in the beauty industry and social media world. It’s a motion to keep the industry positive, inspiring and empowering!
