The Formulas

• Lightening: 30g BlondorPlex 9 + 45g Welloxon Perfect 6%. Then, complete the lightening service with BlondorPlex No. 2 Bond Stabilizer for 2 minutes.
• Roots: 30g Pure Perfection 9/3 + 30g Welloxon Perfect 6%.
• Lengths & Ends: 50g Pure Perfection 9/3 + 10g Pure Perfection 7/40 + 60g Welloxon Perfect 9%.

The Steps

1. Section off a diamond shape on top, with wide sections meeting the diamond across the head. Alternate weaves and slices, backcombing the roots for a soft blend.
2. Apply lightener slightly away from the root, softly blending towards it.
3. After completing the lightening service, apply the root formula throughout, followed immediately by the lengths-and-ends formula.
4. Develop the Pure Perfection color for 30–40 minutes, then follow the finishing steps below.

A Richer Brunette

Refreshing brunette can be as simple as adding depth or changing the undertone. A warmer chestnut gives brown a softer feel, while a cooler shade can make the same depth look completely different.

Pure Brunette shows how a richer color can work with the lighter pieces you already have in your hair. Created on previously highlighted curls, the overall color feels more connected, with enough dimension to show off the movement and texture. The Steps

1. Apply the root formula throughout the dark natural regrowth. The 6% developer provides one level of lift on natural hair.
2. Take the root formula through darker areas underneath, avoiding the previous highlights.
3. Apply the lengths-and-ends formula through the remaining hair, including the previous highlights.
4. Comb from roots to ends to soften the transitions. Develop for 30–40 minutes, then follow the finishing steps below.

A Cooler Brown

The Formula

• All-Over Color: 40g Pure Perfection 5/0 + 20g Pure Perfection 5/8 + 60g Welloxon Perfect 6%.

The Steps

1. Begin where the concentration of grey is highest. For the featured look, the greys were evenly scattered, so a classic brickwork sectioning pattern was used.
2. Apply through to the ends, combing each section for even distribution.
3. Cross-check the application to ensure all greys are fully saturated.
4. Develop for 30–40 minutes, then follow the finishing steps below.

 

Copper, Customized

Copper can be a full-on change or a small detail within the shade you already have. A little added to blonde brings warmth, while blended into brunette it can create a warmer chestnut finish. For a more noticeable change, Pure Copper uses 7/40 to create a clear copper tone throughout the hair. The palette also includes 5/40, a deeper shade with a slightly redder direction, giving you choices from brighter warmth to a richer red finish.

• Lightening: 30g Blondor FREELIGHTS + 45g Blondor FREELIGHTS Developer 6%.
• Roots: 45g Pure Perfection 7/40 + 45g Welloxon Perfect 3%.
• Lengths & Ends: 60g Pure Perfection 7/40 + 60g Welloxon Perfect 6%.

The Steps

1. For the featured look, pre-wash the hair and perform a wet balayage with Blondor FREELIGHTS to reduce the dark color buildup through the mid-band. Blend towards the root for a soft transition.
2. After completing the lightening service, apply the root formula to the first 1.5–2cm. The lower developer strength helps control brightness.
3. Immediately apply the lengths-and-ends formula throughout.
4. Develop the Pure Perfection color for 30–40 minutes. The color looks darker during oxidation, so allow the full development time before following the finishing steps below.
