Lived-in, effortless styles reigned supreme on the Autumn/Winter 2018 Fashion Week runways. From layered looks to ultra-baggy silhouettes, designers found a way to make bulkier pieces look ultra-chic. Hair also mimicked the seemingly “thrown-together” ensembles—tousled, textured styles looked undone yet fresh as models walked the runways. Check out our favorite looks that are giving us major hair envy at the moment.

The Style: Tousled Beach Waves

The Show: Monse

Asymmetric silhouettes gave casual styles a modern edge at the Monse runway show. The finishing touch? Cool-girl beach waves that were tossed over to one side, giving the look even more of an asymmetric appearance. To recreate the style, apply KEVIN.MURPHY HAIR.RESORT.SPRAY to damp hair, followed by a dime-size amount of KEVIN.MURPHY MOTION.LOTION. Next, create tiny braids all around your head and allow hair to air-dry, then take out the braids and finish with KEVIN.MURPHY BEDROOM.HAIR.

The Style: Curtain Bangs

The Show: Coach 1941

The layered looks at the Coach 1941 runway show had a cool, bohemian vibe accented by soft textured half-updos featuring one of the latest hair trends: curtain bangs. Ideal for those in the process of growing out their fringe, curtain bangs look causal and modern on any style. To achieve the look, start out by applying KEVIN.MURPHY HAIR.RESORT.SPRAY to damp locks and allow hair to air-dry. Next, pull back pieces from each side of your hair and pin them in place, then use a comb to create a part down the center of your bangs and smooth them out toward the sides. Finish with KEVIN.MURPHY SESSION.SPRAY to keep bangs in place.

The Style: Voluminous Curls

The Show: Tibi

Wild ringlets added a sultry, feminine appeal to the sleek, elongated silhouettes seen at the Tibi show. To recreate the style, apply KEVIN.MURPHY KILLER.CURLS to damp hair, then blow-dry hair with a diffuser. Work a small amount of KEVIN.MURPHY SUPER.GOO through hands before applying it to mid-lengths and ends. Gently scrunch the ends, then finish with KEVIN.MURPHY ANTI.GRAVITY.SPRAY to lock in shine.
