As the seasons change we begin to crave a new style! A terrific way to change up your look with out sacrificing your length is to create a Faux Bob. In this tutorial Makeup and Hair Artist Sherri Jessee shows us the steps to get this look!
Start by distributing a small amount of texturing cream throughout your hair and blow dry. Curl random sections of your hair on a 1 1/4" curling iron. Then, loosen up the curls by brushing through with a soft bristle brush. Once you’ve prepped the hair, follow these steps!
1. Smooth the bottom center section into a low ponytail and tie with a small elastic.
2. Twist the pony up and pin to the hairline to secure. This section will be an anchor for the remaining top sections.
3. Allow the top to softly drop down and pin to faux bob length.
4. Continue pinning remaining hair. Mist with a firm holding hairspray.
