The Gossip Girl reboot has officially been confirmed, which means the return of the headband is inevitable! If you’ve watched the show, or even seen a meme of GG on Instagram, then you’ve probably noticed Blaire Waldorf’s signature headband! In fact, almost every female character rocked a headband at least one point throughout the entire OG series! This can only give us hope that we will be seeing a headband or two in the new HBO Max reboot of Gossip Girl. If that’s the case, you need to be prepared! Here are some fun ways to style headbands this season!

Wide Headband

This winter, Vanessa Hudgens made quite the statement, rocking a neon headband with matching neon boots and a black swimsuit & furry coat in the snow! Now, don’t take this as inspo to go get hypothermia in the snow, but rather, take this as major style inspo! Vanessa reminded us of how powerful a pop of color can be to an otherwise monotone outfit. Adding a neon green, pink, or blue thick headband is both the perfect way to make a bold statement, and to dress up a classic, hair down style. If you do plan on wearing a headband in the snow, be sure to prep your hair for the cold weather by applying Wella Professionals Oil Reflections Luminous Reflective Oil.

Thin Double Headband

You know what they say, “two is better than one.” The Us star, Lupita Nyong’o is living proof of that as she stuns in her simple, yet beautiful black, thin, double headband! A subtle headband like this is the perfect accessory for those with shorter hair, like Lupita. Thicker headbands will take away from the gloriousness of your short cut, but a thin double headband will accentuate it!

Styling short hair isn’t always the easiest task, but with the help of Keune’s Style Blowout Gelee NO 56 and a quick blow dry, you won’t have to struggle too much! If your goal is to have a cute way to style your short hair, then look no further than this cute headband style!

Beaded Headband

Sydney Sweeney is Hollywood’s most darling girl-next-door, and she couldn’t look any sweeter than when she wears a beaded headband. She perfectly pairs a poufy, pink, beaded headband with a flowy dress and silky ocean waves (both hair and water)! Achieving this look is as effortless as finding the beaded headband in your favorite color, and styling your hair with KEVIN.MURPHY HAIR.RESORT beach texturiser. Before placing your headband, dampen your hair, and scrunch in a bit of the beach texturizer into your hair to achieve the sexy, yet demure beach look Sydney Sweeney had for her elite daily cover photo.
