Taking place at The Dorchester in London, the 22nd annual TV Choice Awards were a beautiful night filled with celebration and style! We had the chance to catch up with some of our favourite stylists who gave us the rundown on which looks were their favorites and how to get the look!

Sleek, glamorous waves are always a hit for the red carpet and Kelly Brook rocked this look beautifully. As her hairstylist for the evening Kelly and I discussed her overall look and decided that an elegant, romantic wave would work best and added a deep side parting for a little extra drama. To create this look I used the Beautyworks Professional Styler and prepped her hair with the OUAI Smooth Spray to give her hair intense shine and protect it against the heated styling. Once styled, I brushed the waves out and ran some Oribe Smooth Style Serum through the mid-lengths and ends to seal the cuticle and remove any unwanted flyaways. I then tucked one side of her hair behind her ear and allowed it to sit over her shoulder to showcase her stunning jawline and plunging neckline.  JAY BIRMINGHAM, CELEBRITY STYLIST OWNER OF JAY BIRMINGHAM HAIR

On trend and understated, Made In Chelsea’s ‘Toff’ was my favourite look from the 2018 TV Choice Awards. Her new shorter hair is a look that is hot for AW18 and her shoulder lengths locks framed her face beautifully. With a soft wave throughout her hair it added a pretty and feminine edge which complimented her pastel pink dress perfectly. This look suits a number of face shapes and your hair tends to look healthier at this length due to the clean, blunt ends. I recommend using a texturizing spray or dry shampoo, with caution, to add a slight grip to your hair so that it doesn’t look too neat and exudes that effortless finish.  DEAN JONES, OWNER OF DEAN JONES HAIRDRESSING

My favourite look from this years TV Choice Awards came from the beautiful Michelle Keegan, who teamed her embellished jumpsuit with a super straight and shiny hairstyle. Her locks were parted into a middle parting and tucked behind her ears, lying on her back to create a glamorous, statement look. To achieve the super straight and shiny look, after washing your hair and parting it into a middle parting, the key is to blow-dry your hair straight, taking section by section and pointing the nozzle downwards. After you have finished blow-drying all of your hair, straighten your hair, again taking section by section, to make sure the hair is super straight, smooth and to give it shine. Once this is complete, finish your look off by spritzing some shine spray through the hair to give it a mirror-like shine.  MATHEW WATT, OWNER OF MATHEW WATT HAIR

My favourite look from the TV Choice Awards 2018 came from the gorgeous Holly Willoughby who paired her tartan two-piece with her shoulder-length soft, signature waves. With this look, I always recommend washing your hair a day or two before, as the look works best when your hair isn’t too soft, and using a volumising shampoo and conditioner to give your hair some volume and lift. To create the waves, I always suggest using a large barrel curling tong or straighteners to curl the hair away from the face, ensuring each section of hair is in equal size and flowing in the same direction. Alternatively, you can also use hot rollers to create this look, keeping the rollers in as long as possible for the best results and until they have completely cooled down. Once you have curled each section of the hair, you should then brush your hair out to give it a softer finish like Holly’s and finish with a light mist of hairspray to keep the hair in place all night long. – CARLY PRICE, PARTNER FOR MUSE OF LONDON
