In a world where clients are aiming to be brighter and blonder than ever before, Redken is at the helm of creating the tools to help stylists get the desired results. Now, the #1 choice for Demi-Permanent haircolor just got even better – introducing new Redken Shades EQ level 10!

Prior to the new level 10 formula, stylists had to rely on mixing level 9’s with clear to achieve brighter blonde levels – often leading to issues with formulation and consistency. Redken Brand Ambassador Cassandra McGlaughlin shares “Redken Shades EQ Level 10s are super exciting because you can consistently create a super bright blonde, without playing the guessing game of mixing a 09 level with clear. The formula is calibrated at a level 10 so you get a predictable end result every time…no more hoping and praying that it doesn’t turn out too dark! I’ve been loving the control it gives me with blonding and the bright, clear results I get each and every time.” This increases efficiency behind the chair when formulating as well as cutting down on unwanted tonal results.

What you can look forward to:

  • Achieve calibrated deposit to consistently give you on-level, true-to-tone results at a level 10, without the need to dilute an existing 09 level, or worry that your end result might appear deeper than originally desired
  • Neutralize unwanted undertones and offer the highest level of customized toning for your brightest, blondest clients
  • Now available in two new shades powered by the Natural (N) and Violet (V) shade families: 010N (Delicate Natural) for neutral, creamy blonde toning or glossing and 010VV (Lavender Ice) for cool, icy blonde toning with a violet reflect

Why Use Level 10?

There are still some cases when you might want to use a level 9 + clear to dilute instead. For instance, if you want to see a more natural undertone come through, go with a diluted level 9. However, you should reach for a level 10 if you need more of a true tone. If brass or yellowing is an issue at higher levels – it will give more neutralization for undertones at a higher level.
