Sure, we may have been listening to our #TBT playlist on Spotify on repeat, but there’s another reason we’re addicted to the oh so chic 90s styles make their debut. Keep reading as we highlight some of our favorite vintage styles that Cher Horowitz would definitely be proud of.

Scrunchies

Carrie Bradshaw would be screaming if she knew that scrunchies had made a comeback. We hate to break it to you SJP but we might be in love. Scrunchies not only add an amusing element to your top knot, but they also allow you to hold your hair up without causing dents or damage.

Crimping

Crimping was a 90s classic and while it’s even made a few comebacks (we see you Xtina), this time the comeback tour is taking on a more free-flowing feel. Instead of perfectly crimped pieces, you can use a crimper to add texture to find hair, help upstyles hold or add interest to your style. Pair the look with Finishing Texture Spray to create a modernized version of this classic.

Hair Accessories

We’re not advising you to bust out the butterfly clips just yet but after their debut at Coachella, embellished bobby pins and hair jewels are here to stay. We love the juxtaposition of this style on a texturized wave or feathered curls. If you’re having trouble getting your accessories to stay, simply spritz Finishing Hair Spray on your accessory and then place it in your hair – this will give it a little extra holding power.

The great thing about this movement is that you don’t need to cut or color your hair to make the change. Simply update your accessories and let your hair do the talking!
