A self-confessed hard-working, creative and competitive person, for the past six years, hairdressing has been the one constant that keeps me challenged, inspired, and intent on growing on a professional and personal level.
As the Manager/Principal Stylist at Sydney’s Royals Hair, I have had the most inspiring and fulfilling time as I take hold of continual opportunities to grow and learn, whilst working in an environment that is fun, yet professional, and that pushes you to reach your full potential and grow in all facets of our industry.
Stepping out from behind the chair, and working on fashion shows, fashion weeks, magazine photo shoots and editorials, I’ve also had the opportunity to assist industry icons like Mana Dave and enhance my skills through brand education via Kevin.Murphy, ghd and REVLON.
Every influence in my life I channel in some way through my creative work. I find any opportunity to positively educate the consumer inspiring, and I have been heavily influenced by the commercialized approach of Guy Tang to specific colour and style trends; his work is incredibly relatable and easy to recreate within the salon with my own creative twist to the techniques.
Creative inspiration takes its form in many different ways; for creative work it may be as simple as buildings or the colour of the sky; on a personal and individual perspective, it’s hard working and committed people that continue to propel me forward.
