Gypset Makes A Comeback at Alberta Ferretti
Travel and texture, two things that have been trending to the umpteenth degree this year, came together on the Alberta Ferretti SS19 runway at Milan Fashion Week. Although known for her ultimately feminine aesthetic, this show took on a boho vibe that screamed gypset instead of jet-set. Gigi, Kendal, and Kaia were all in the lineup as a new tradition of travel staples took flight. When it came to the hair, Redken Global Creative Director Guido Palau capitalized on texture - the natural kind.
Alexander McQueen PFW SS19
Sarah Burton’s SS19 runway for Alexander McQueen was a stunning meeting place for contrasting objectives. Beautiful in nature, we saw floral patterns meet Victorian shapes, frilly fabric meets leather and classic chic meet rocker cool. The fashion proved to be out of this world while the hair delighted the senses and tied the entire look together with a modern feel.
