As green leaves turn all the shades of sunset and chunky knits replace boho sundresses we’re going to see a shift in hair tones as well! If a big transformation isn’t in your future, check out the small changes you can make to update your hair color this season.

Blondes

Platinum was a go-to color for fall and as the weather gets even colder we’re going to see pastel shades in the future! To warm things up in an exciting way violet and rose gold will be a huge hit. Julia Roberts has been an early advocate of going Rose Gold this season and we absolutely love the way she incorporated this shade into her ends. We find that using pastels in an ombré effect is a great way to add interest without letting the shade totally take over your look.

Brunettes

Just like platinum for blondes, cool shades we’re trending hard over summer, but everyone wants warmth when it gets cold out. Brunettes are no different! Going lighter? Opt for bronde – your stylist can use balayage to create light blonde strands, adding dimension and vibrancy to any shade.  Not sold on going too light? A creamy, warm gloss to add gold undertones can turn any brunette into a caramel goddess!

Reds

Go fierce or brighten up your strands this season. Add a gloss to your usual routine to enhance red shades of any depth, not only will it pump up the vibrancy factor it will add shine as well. Thinking about making your red look sun-kissed? Highlights can create a beautiful melt indicative of the amazing shades the sky shows off every night!
