0f7383a8be562595c249 embrace your texture

This past season, we’ve seen a resurgence of natural texture from the runway to street style. Embracing nature and learning how to work with what you got is one of our favorite trends of the season. When you learn what products to use and when, styling your texture becomes fun, instead of worrisome and the freedom of letting your hair down becomes contagious. Learn how to wear your texture a few different ways with the help of evo and the steps below!

1. Begin by layering damp curly hair with Day of Grace prep spray and Whip It Good styling mousse. Massage in and detangle with Roy for even hydration on product coverage.

2. Apply She Bang a Bang dry spray wax to the hair while damp, especially through the ends and areas prone to frizz. Massage in with hands and place hair in desired parting.

3. Scrunch hair in to condense and diffuse in sections until completely dry, moving the hair and minimally as possible. Ensure the blow-dryer is on low air and high heat to dry efficiently with minimal frizz.

4. Once hair is dry, the curl will be evenly hydrated, controlled and defined. This will give you the base to then shape and dress it out without overworking the curl.

5. Apply Love Touch Shine spray to the hands and massage curls apart to aerate the curl and create volume and width. Finish by applying Builder’s Paradise working spray for any final touches.

*COLOUR NOTE- Pastels achieved with eve Fabuloso Pro- a custom system of true semi-permanent pigments that give you a true colour wheel palette for unlimited creativity.

5. Use your hands to shape the curl and sharpen the outside shape by spraying lightly with Builder’s Paradise working spray and setting with the side of the can instead of your hand. This will give you a strong shape but no hair sticking to your hands.

6. For extra shine finish with Love Touch shine spray- a weightless product that will bring the colour to life without weighing the hair down.
