If you asked anyone in the mid-2010s what the biggest beauty trend was, they’d probably have said “full glam.”Celebrities like  Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, and the Kardashians set the standard in the mid-2010s that being totally “done up” was the only way to hit the town or show up to fancy events.

Full glam includes bold lips, extra-long lashes, complex hairstyles, and, of course, complete contour. One would think that this type of look would be reserved for the biggest events in life like Prom, Christmas parties, or weddings, but in reality, people were going full glam for their everyday lives. Perhaps it’s that we don’t have many fancy events to attend at the moment or the more time we spend with ourselves in quarantine, the more we begin to appreciate the natural good looks our mamas gave us, but whatever it is, full glam seems to be out, and natural beauty is IN!

It’s 2020 and everyone is finally embracing natural beauty and saving the two to three hours it takes to go full glam. Natural beauty is all about embracing the natural features of your body, face, and hair. This could mean going completely bare face and letting your hair fall in the most natural way possible. Or it could mean adding light mascara and putting a little product in your hair. Going natural means accentuating the beauty that’s already there, without overdoing it.

We’ve gathered a few tips to help you embrace your natural beauty this year.

Take it from To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before star Lana Condor, a little goes a long way! If you’re like this talented actress and have naturally straight hair, you can embrace your natural beauty with a couple of quick hacks. If your hair is naturally straight, there’s a good chance that your eyelashes stick out straight as well. Add a quick couple of strokes of mascara to give your lashes a subtle lift. Then work Keune Care Keratin Smooth Smoothing Serum throughout strands to keep your hair smooth and protected throughout the day. If you’ve got the time, take your wand and create some texture by lightly curling a few, thick strands.

If You’ve Got Naturally Wavy Hair

Hailey Bieber absolutely stunned in this pic from September! She is 100% embracing her natural beauty by showing off her perfectly placed freckles, carefully maintained eyebrows, and naturally wavy hair. Her hair looks like ultra-soft and dreamy, and so can yours if you have natural waves. A major issue with wavy hair is battling frizz. However, an easy way to combat this is by using a lightweight styler like EASY.RIDER defining and anti-frizz creme by KEVIN.MURPHY.
