One of our favorite, young fresh multilingual blogggers, Pamela Leon. In her blog, A Style Victim, she writes about her life, cool sense of fashion, and trends from her home of Lima , Peru. Read this new University student’s blog in Spanish or English, all in a wink of the eye. We asked Pamela a few questions of our own, here’s what she said…..
What is your favorite thing to photograph and what do you love about it?
Definitely street-style outfits and clothes, especially the simple details from unique outfits. Also, I love taking photos of landscapes when I travel, and I enjoy photographing my little sisters. The moments when they are playing, laughing or singing, capturing their sincere smile in a photo feels absolutely comforting and great.
Have you ever wanted to do something drastic with your hair? What would you like to do? Why haven’t you done it?
Of course! As a matter of fact, I dyed my hair tips a few weeks ago. At first, I wanted pastel pink and did it by myself. Let's just say it was one of the worst mistakes I've ever made. It turned orange, which, by the way, is the color I hate the most! I ended up going to a hair salon and at last moment I decided to dye them lavender. I was absolutely in love with my hair! However, I only kept them for a couple of weeks (they turned white with each wash). I will soon upload a new post with a photo of my hair, so stay tuned!
Who do you see as a “style icon” and why?
Alexa Chung is my style icon, in fact she is a style Goddess. She is one of the reasons I decided to create my blog, to stand up and share my outfits. From sweet and pastel skirts, to edgy and laid-back pieces of clothing, she is versatile and doesn't care what people think about how she dresses, which is one of the things I admire most of her.
