The NYFW Spring/Summer 18 runways provided major hair inspo for the months to come. From cool-girl braids to laid-back waves, models appeared pulled-together without looking overdone. Check out the top three looks we loved on the runway.
Trend #1: Relaxed Waves
Spotted at: Brandon Maxwell
SS18: For my Nanu, and all the women who have opened doors for others, whom, without their strength and conviction, we would never have walked through. A big thank you to my incredible team of women that inspire me and keep me safe, family, friends and collaborators for your support in helping make this collection come to life. Natural texture reigned supreme at the Brandon Maxwell show as models rocked soft, relaxed waves as they walked the catwalk. To re-create the look, begin by applying Keune Design Root Voluminizer to roots, then blow-dry hair. Use a 1 1/2-inch curling iron to add soft waves to the hair, leaving the ends out. To finish, gently brush through the waves.
Trend #2: Slick Side Part
Spotted at: Jason Wu
Slicked-back, side-parted styles looked ultra-chic at Jason Wu. To achieve the look, start off by creating a deep side part, using a comb or boar bristle brush to smooth back the hair. Then, apply Keune Design Brillantine Gel to give your hair a “wet” look.
Trend #3: Ultra Smooth
Spotted at: Tory Burch
Models at the Tory Burch show look polished with smooth blowouts. To mirror the style, begin by washing strands with Keune Keratin Smooth Shampoo and Conditioner, then apply a dime-size amount of Keune Keratin Smooth Silkening Polish and blow-dry strands using a round brush. Finish with Keune Keratin Smooth Smoothing Serum to get rid of any flyaways.
