Hi! I'm Melissa, and I'm a stylist/hair designer at the Salon at ULTA in Seal Beach, CA. I've been licensed coming up on 4 years, the last three of those spent freelancing and working as a hair and makeup artist for photoshoots. I specialize in creating a truly customized experience to each guest who takes a seat in my chair. I evaluate their needs as well as the needs of their hair, and come up with the best plan of action to make the guest's hair dreams come true without sacrificing the integrity of the hair. I'm big on aftercare, so my clients always leave the salon with one or two recommended products for them to keep their hair healthy and beautiful at home. I use Redken and Pravana lines of color, and I am a Pravana certified colorist. I'm working on my Redken certification, but I was also trained in all of Redken's color lines. I'm big on continuing education, so I'm always attending shoes and classes to further myself and my talent. Hairdressing is truly my passion, and I hope some day to become a platform artist or brand educator and to spread my love of beauty throughout our industry and beyond. ~ Melissa
