As a new season of style debuts on the heels of fashion week, clients will be looking to tune up their shades in order to stay ahead of the trends. No matter the color they walk in with, you can easily suggest a few new shades that they can transition to for Fall!

Brunette → Auburn or Caramel

Brunettes made a strong comeback this season as a bold shade for summer. As we transition into fall, add a little warmth with a deeper auburn shade or lighten it slightly with a few caramel highlights. Clients with cooler skin tones can embrace auburn as a fierce shade to pair with their winter whites. For clients with warmer skin tones who love to bronze it up, caramel highlights are the perfect way to hold onto summer all season long.

Platinum → Rose Gold or Lilac

Blonde shades bonded well with cool platinum tones this season, but as the temps cool down your clients may be looking for a fun fantasy shade or punchy pastel. Rose gold is a great way to warm up for winter, while Lilac can add interest while keeping your clients' shades in the cool family. Try SoColorCult in Semi, Demi, or Permanent depending on how long they want their new shade to last.

Red → Sunset

Red can usually be a hard shade to transition from. It can take a great deal of time and color removal to switch it up, but choosing shades of the sunset to begin can be a great start! Lighten up your deep reds with an ombre indicative of our favorite time of day! Adding orange (and even yellow tones) to your tips is our favorite way to update the shade this season.
