A566fc9d28491e7cfc89 mens fall style guide

Summer’s slicked-back styles are officially out. Hollywood’s leading names have been sporting more relaxed cuts on and off the red carpet, opting for cool fades, amped-up texture and even throwback styles that will have women everywhere do a double take. Read on to learn how to recreate these laid-back looks just in time for fall.

Conor McGregor/Short Side Part & Fade

Maybe it’s all of the anticipation of the upcoming Mayweather vs. McGregor fight, but it’s hard to deny the masculine appeal of the MMA champion’s edgy fade. The side parting allows for versatile styling, while the short edges make it easy and wearable for everyday. To mimic McGregor’s tousled look, work a dime-size amount of deconstructor through strands. For a more polished style, use a brush to sweep hair to the side, then apply pomade to hold hair in place.

Zayn Malik/Textured Top

If you have finer strands but still want to keep a little length and texture on top, apply sea salt spray to damp locks, then blow-dry hair. Work a small amount of hair wax into your hands before applying it to your hair to add shine, definition and separation.

Brooklyn Beckham/90s Throwback

The floppy, swept-back style has made its return. Perfect for guys trying to grow out an undercut, the look is effortless and low-key, but it can be customized with different products. For a more relaxed feel, work a dime-size amount of pomade into hands before running your fingers through your hair. For a more defined wavy style, apply a thickening spray to damp strands, then loosely scrunch your ends to amp up your natural texture.
