Have you ever wondered how to take what you saw on the runway and turn it into an everyday style? It’s a lot easier than you think. With a few quick tricks you can easily take styles you see on the catwalk and create a go-to style for daily wear.

Hair Statements

From Prada to Simone Rocha and even Dolce & Gabbana, hairpieces were everywhere this season, which means, the headband is back! You can save your flower crown until your next Music Festival, but in the meantime you can easily incorporate a bold leather, beaded, or studded headpiece for fall. Pair this with a classic blowout or pull your hair back into a sleek pony and affix your favorite accessory.

Bed Head Is Best

Good news for those of you who aren’t always the earliest of risers. Fashion week showed some serious love for bed head this season, which means unkempt is cool again. Shows like Preen and Ryan Lo showcased natural texture with a twist. To get this vibe, you’ll want to embrace your natural style and enhance it with a texturizing element, like Texturizing Volume Spray to give your hair movement.

As fashion shows turn into spectacles and it seems like almost anything goes, we’ve noticed hair trends follow suit. The occasional cut takes place but now we’re seeing bold hair colors grace the catwalk on both male and female models. The Marc Jacobs show was one of the biggest showings of this trend and created a 60s feel alongside candy-colored ponytails. Matty Bovan used ultralight brights to accentuate his punchy fabrics creating a show-stopping look from head to toe. Not ready to take the plunge? Use a temporary color spray to mimic the look and then simply wash it out the next day! Take your pick: Pink, Blue, Purple or Red.
