When it’s hot outside we can’t wait to bask in the sun and are usually on the go, go, go - unfortunately being on the go, doesn’t always leave room for washing our hair. Between music festivals and beach days, our hair takes a back seat to the fun. But you know what they say, things only get better with time, and the same rule applies to your hair! Grab your dry shampoo and check out the best ways to keep your hair as on point as your busy spring schedule!
Fishtail Ponytail
The grit in your hair makes the perfect base to keep a fishtail braid together. It’s an easy style to take advantage your “I woke up like this” hair in all its pillow tossed glory. Start by braiding your strands in a low fishtail, once you’re done, secure it at the nape of your neck with a small elastic band. Take a thick piece of your hair and wrap it around the start of your fishtail and pin it into place. Pull it all together with a couple tugs at the braid and a spritz of texture spray, and you are back on the go, go, go!
HUN
The half-bun is the ultimate go-to hairstyle and is perfect for all hair lengths and textures. Grab your dry shampoo and spray it on your roots and rub it in, not only to absorb the excess oils but to add a little volume and create the illusion of fullness. Loop the hair starting from your temples towards the crown of your head and secure it with an elastic. Your messy-chic texture will lay effortlessly in the back and add a bit of interest to your day plans!
Bubble Pony
Whether high or low, this pony is great for bedhead. Start off the process with your go-to dry shampoo, spraying it from the roots to the middle of your strands. If you want a low bubble pony, secure your ponytail at the nape of your neck, and tease it up a bit for extra volume. Wrap a thick strand of hair around the elastic, fully hiding it, and then create a space before securing the next bubble. Tease each section to create the bubble effect, spritz it with your texture spray, and you’re off!
