Looking for a way to hit the refresh button on your style this season? As we head into the back-to-school season, we’ve been programmed to crave all things new. Whether starting a new job or transitioning to a new school, this time of year gives us all the freedom we’ve been looking for to throw our go-to styles out the window in favor of something new! If a big cut is not in the cards for you, the best way to embrace the fall season is by opting for a brand new color. Read on for a few of our favorites.

Golden Undertones

Shades of gold hit an all-time high during 2020, and while Pantone reiterated this with its choice of Illuminating for the Color of the Year 2021, we’ll continue to see hints of this shade all season long. The best way to wear it? Pair it with your go-to shade to create a perfectly complementing undertone. We love pairing this color with blondes and even deep shades of brunette for a “lit from within” feel. The queen of the inner glow, Yara Shahidi is the perfect example of a deep brunette with a slight golden undertone.

Middle Ground, Brown

Many clients underwent a serious grow out this past season and as they return to the salon they’re looking for new ways to highlight their natural tones — case in point, classic brown! If you’re looking for a little inspiration, look no further than Where The Crawdads Sing star, Daisy Edgar Jones. While so many of us have been swooning over her bangs, her effortlessly middle ground brown has captured our hearts.

Bronde

We’ve seen this shade before and with clients looking for in-between colors and low-maintenance options, this shade is gaining popularity for the ability of both blondes and brunettes to don this shade. Brunettes simply need a dusting of highlights while blondes can easily achieve the shade with a wash of gloss. From Margot Robbie to Bella Hadid and Hailey Bieber, take your pick of range with this easily tailored color.
