Lavette Bio Meet Lavette Cephus: She is an award-winning nail artist and the owner of Beautè Asylum Salon in Toledo, Ohio. Her extensive career as a nail artist began in 2007, when she obtained her "Managing Nail Technician License from the Ohio State Board (she obtained to California state Nail license in 2016). In 2014, she started a mentorship program for young nail artists who want to learn the advanced techniques that distinguished her work. Her career rose to new heights in 2015 after winning NAILS Magazine's Next Top Nail Artist competition. Her unique, creative, high-fashion nail art captivated judges and nail fans alike. Since winning NTNA, Lavette has created nails for the high-fashion clothing line, Libertine for New York Fashion Week. She has had her work featured on the cover of the nail industry's leading magazines. Lavette was awarded by CND with the NextGen artist award for her high-fashion nail designs. This year, she joined ____ nail agency, in California, to kick off her career as a celebrity and editorial nail artist.
