Jessica has been with the Aveda network since 1991. Her first 9 years were spent in Gainesville , Florida at The Strand an Aveda Concept Salon and Spa. Then relocated in 2001 to Miami to work at Aruj Salon and Spa. She quickly developed her teaching skills to become the Salon Coach/ Mentor for hair cutting. Then began working at Van Michael Miami to continue as an educator for the last 10 years. She has done Aveda Master Jam in Cleveland , Ohio and Tampa and Miami.She has participated in Miami Fashion Week and Miami Swim Wear Week since 2003. Her work has been featured on TV , magazines and newsprint. Now part of Detlev Salon in Miami Beach formerly known as Van Michael Miami Salon. She continues sharing her knowledge. She also enjoys creating one of a kind looks for weddings and editorial. Her drive for excellence and continuing education delivers a personal service to her growing clientele. In her spare time she enjoys attending various art openings, exploring Miami's culinary scene and beaches. Often she goes to New York and other parts of the world to get inspiration from the on-trend styles she sees from her travels. Jessica always results in a creative masterful look all her own.
