Sica is a licensed hair stylist from Minneapolis, where she has made a name for herself both in the salon and on the runway as a session stylist. For over a decade she has focused her professional efforts not only on her own success, but also on collaborations with other stylists and artists from the Twin Cities, opening Fox Den in 2007 as a way to bring progressive, sustainable, and attainable beauty to her neighborhood. As she has grown into her own vision of what it means to be an artist, she has continued to advance to develop her skills through local training and events, large training programs, and brand partnerships. Sica has completed prestigious programs with Tearsheets Artists, HAIR:MASTERED with Sam McKnight and trained with the peerless powerhouse of education, Vivienne Mackinder. She is constantly working to stay ahead of the cutting-edge in fashion, form and design. Sica's love of education pushed her to return to university in 2013 where she graduated with an honors degree in business, helping her to better manage her team as well as her own time and efforts. She segued her love of education seamlessly into a role educating for the revolutionary new color line, BIG Professional Color, helping other stylists and distributors nationally to develop a better understanding of the Italian color line. She has focused not only on advancing her business and techniques behind the chair, but also on crafting her own unique point of view for print and stage, working with a number of designers for runway shows and collections, performers, and publications. Sica is always tirelessly looking for new ways to bring her holistic vision of care to support to the world with her particular skills.
